Gratitude is everything.

What are you grateful for today?

Since the beginning of the year I have been writing seven things that I am grateful for each day. Being grateful is a part of my self-care routine and helps me to maintain a positive attitude.

Below is my gratitude list for today and a link to Auntie O’s thoughts on gratitude.

  1. the ladies in my Barre class
  2. camo leggings
  3. My homie who jammed with me to The Carters – Nice this morning from his car (I like it loud sometimes.)
  4. Baby oil
  5. the ability to hear
  6. Vultures (the underrated clean up crew of nature)
  7. another chance to be here on Earth in this form

I deleted Instagram off my phone. Though there are always beautiful things/ people on there, I am happier when I do not engage with it. Straight like that.

I was reading my last post, reflecting on my reflection, and I do not think I have as much trouble connecting as I claimed. I must remember to think of connection it terms what, how, who, quality vs quantity, and duration of a connection.
