I found forever in the forest
Still I sat as winged creatures whizzed by leaving behind vibrations in the small bones of my ears
Still I sat as the leaves on trees swayed to the wind’s beat
Still I sat as the ants worked on in summer’s heat
Still I sat
And in the stillness forever appeared
Inside my mind
I rewind time
Rereading and over analyzing the messages between each line
I am restless and reactive
Tied down by time
Time- as man has constructed it
Time- as man has constricted it
Wrapped and bound by minutes, seconds, hours and days
Living in the present as if I am in the past or somewhere in the future
Forgetting that time freed from the constraints of clocks and calendars is timeless

Inside my mind
I am suppressing my feelings of oppression
Oppressed by my own repression of my personal truth
Inside my consciousness
I watch my mind dart back and forth, attempting to control the uncontrollable
Attempting to explain the unexplainable and attain the unattainable
I am aware of this moment and what it feels like
I am aware that it is all out of my control
This is beautiful because to step out of control is to step into flow

I invite my mind to relax
To stop rewinding time or fast forwarding to the future
To relinquish control to universal flow
To dwell in the present moment
My mind excepts my invitations
And together we dance in the happiness of present moment awareness on the grounding green grasses of gratitude as the sunbeams warm awareness full of light to even our darkest places

Put the gun down Alice.
The gun metal sparkled with the assistance of the moon light as Alice aimed.
“Who’s there!” yelled Alice never taking her eye of her targets standing 4 feet from the end of their lives and her ruger.
Put the gun down.
“”Fuck No!” yelled Alice.
“Do you know how long I have been chasing these demons? Do you?! They have taken my time, my energy, my resources!”
They have?
“Yes.” she answered stepping closer to her demons.
The targets stiffened.
I have questions Alice.
This voice was familiar to Alice but she could not place it.
All that was within her urged her ears to listen closely.
Alice?
Why would you chase demons?
Where do they come from?
Have you sought to understand them?
Are you sure these demons are worth chasing?
Put the gun down Alice.
It seems a bit ridiculous to shoot to kill without understanding the truth of the situation- the truth of the lives of the spirits you are so ready to take. Especially because it seems that these demons are unarmed.
Her grip loosened on the ruger.
Look closer at these demons you chase.
Who are they?
Is this a good use of your time? energy? resources?
Have you created some of these demons?
Have you forced them to attack and act because you have been treating them like less then from the beginning, hand resting on the ruger ready to sear souls?
Is this your purpose Alice? To chase demons?
Have you cleansed the windows of perspective lately?
Who are your sources?
Are these beliefs rooted in fear or fearlessness?
Does the pursuit of these demons distract you from your true life purpose?
Alice’s eyes widened. “Shit.” she thought.
The awareness of her own fearful ignorance slammed into her left and right brain at the same time.
She put the gun down.
Breathe Alice.
You are uncomfortable- I feel it.
Just breathe. Growth and awareness can be uncomfortable.
Breathe.
Just breathe.
Could these demons not be demons at all but significant spirits necessary for you to encounter-growing you towards your destiny- which is unfolding moment by moment, choice by choice, response by response, experience by experience?
Spirits integral to your true purpose?
Spirits that will teach you- aid in your growth -aid in your own ascension as you aid in theirs?
“Significant spirits,” Alice whispered as a tear of awareness slid down her cheek.
Remember Alice this is an even exchange- it always has been, it always will be.
If you chase demons they will chase you.
If you chase love it will chase you.
The only demons you need to vanquish are your own.
The rest leave to me. They can’t run from me.
The exchange begins with you.
So what do you wish to exchange?
Alice was breathing.
Alice was thinking- critically.
Alice was critically thinking.
And as the wheels of her machine like mind turned faster and faster she began to vibrate.
Answers flooded in. Assumptions flowed out.
“The exchange begins with me.” Alice said.
“While I can’t control the outcome of every moment, I can aid in the delivery and attraction of the highest vibrations by choosing to exchange that which I am. I am love at the basis of my existence and that is what I must strive to exchange even in situations that make me feel like pulling out the ruger.”
Alice stepped forward looked her demons straight in the eye, forgave them and let them go.
Get back on the path Alice. There are some beautiful things ahead. You are okay. Alice you are powerful. You don’t need the ruger.
“Who are you?,” Alice asked.
You know me Alice. You always have.
When you need me call on me.
Let me be your ruger. – the Creator laughed and sent Alice down the path filled with love, hope, and fearlessness.

As faces brown like hers and white like American history send her negative messages about who she is
Messages based largely on her gender, race, and sexuality – the outer most details of her deep existence

As spirit reminds her that she should always look deeper then the surface of another’s epidermis to connect

Besides no one knows better than her that is takes ALL faces to build dreams

As she attempts to find love in a time when many are tuned out to the natural flow of love within their own being

I’ve given birth many times but I have no children.
I give birth to ideas.
During the right life experience, visual, physical, mental,and emotional sensations shoot through my mind touching all the right spots causing an orgasm of thought.
This union of myself and life experience spark creation and the seed of an idea is planted.
I begin to feel my idea growing inside the womb of my mind. I nourish it with information and love. I crave silence and chamomile tea. There are sleepless nights and occasionally I am irritable.
Then I give birth.
Pushing, Praying, Painting, Poems, Pottery, Photos

My idea is born.
This little creation will one day be my big idea. As it grows I must remember to have no expectations – I will simply guide it.
Although it is my idea, this creation still has a destiny, a journey, and a purpose all of its own.
I am a woman.
Through me life passes.
So it feels quite natural to birth ideas and give you all life.
